AP entering his 9th season. 8 whole players have ever rushed for 1,000 after 10 seasons. Not the sort of potential production to support trading a 1st. Not when someone like Gurley who is all of 20 years old is out there. I'd rather trade up and take either Gurley or Gordon if need be

I don't think AP is coming to SD. We have brought in a cluster of 2nd and 3rd round graded running backs for visits in addition to Gordon and Gurley interest. Smoke signals are showing us going RB early. I think that 2/3 cluster is a fallback if one of the top two doesn't drop or we don't juice up for one. I really don't see Gurley getting out of top 10 though so I'm guessing it will be Gordon
