The new one is AP and the Vikings second round pick to San Diego for the 17th pick, a conditional pick in 2016.

That writer is just throwing ideas out and hoping one sticks. I like AP as a player but he is 30, I know he has had nearly a year of mileage off but the post 30 drop off for a running back is quick, real quick.

He's still pretty handy with a switch. If the Chargers were to ever trade for that lose...well...sharing a stadium with the Raiders would be too good for them.

AP entering his 9th season. 8 whole players have ever rushed for 1,000 after 10 seasons. Not the sort of potential production to support trading a 1st. Not when someone like Gurley who is all of 20 years old is out there. I'd rather trade up and take either Gurley or Gordon if need be

Yeah because we all know if you make a mistake in life you should never ever be able to work in your chosen profession again...ever

I don't class AP with Ray Rice or Hernandez. He has paid his dues and probably learned a valuable lesson but doesn't have enough years of Production left to justify a 1st. Maybe he will be like Riggins and be productive at 34 or 35 odds are he isnt

If the Chargers get Adrian Peterson, they might as well move to Los Angeles because I won't be a fan anymore anyway.

I don't think AP is coming to SD. We have brought in a cluster of 2nd and 3rd round graded running backs for visits in addition to Gordon and Gurley interest. Smoke signals are showing us going RB early. I think that 2/3 cluster is a fallback if one of the top two doesn't drop or we don't juice up for one. I really don't see Gurley getting out of top 10 though so I'm guessing it will be Gordon

With Minny's asking price of two first round picks for AP, he isn't going anywhere or they need to put the Bong down.
