They are not ranked against each other:
Ekeler is ranked against the top running backs on each team, while JJ is ranked against the backups.

In 2006, it would have been:

RB #1 LT (1)
RB #2 MT (1)

Rising tide lifts all ships. That's what prognosticators miss.

Significantly better o-line could make Ekeler elite. He's already had good seasons (85.2 pff in 2019 and 77.0 last year). Herbert is not only going to have more time, but with the Saint's style offense he's going to get more "easy" pitch and catch plays, w/higher YAC.

Staley's schemes, instructional skills and attention to detail will provide a hidden upgrade for a lot of players, IMO.

I wonder if 2020 was a fluke for Bulaga. Thats my top worry for the entire team. They won’t collapse without him, unlike last year, but it would be nice if he earned even half of his contract.

I think having Linsley here will pick Bulaga back up. I’m very excited for this season!

Trai Turner is still a free agent;
the rest are backups at best, scrambling to make the team.

Pretty amazing a rookie qb was able to prosper behind such a mess.

Unless Denver gets Rodgers, I think we're a better team. Yeah, they went out and got some corners, but their Defensive line is an old Von Miller, and Chubb, coming off of injury. Another year of Melvin Gordon crying about being disrespected, and Javonte Williams taking his carries......

Yep...besides Turnstyle Turner, other ex-Bolts who are still unsigned are InvisaMel and Launchwhiffy...they're still unsigned for a reason...

He should cash as many paycheck as he can while he still can. The last thing he should do is hold out. He should go in there every day and pout while he runs.

It doesn't matter how good the rest of your roster is if your QB sucks. Drew Lock sucks. Unless DEN got Rodgers when I was asleep they're still a 5 win team with a crappy QB.

Tebow had enough Patrick Mahomes in him that he could by force of will propel the Broncos to victory every once in a while.

John Elway decided (sensibly, it seems!) that you can't build a team around a QB who can't do the rest of the job well enough to win most of the remainder of the time. He cut ties with Tebow pretty abruptly and unceremoniously and, given that Tebow only ever had the proverbial 'cup of coffee' as a QB on an NFL roster after that, it would appear that the rest of the football world concluded the same thing.
