Cancel culture has been here since the founding of the Republic: it didn't just start recently.

I don't disagree, but we are seeing a lot more of it because once something is on the internet, it never goes away. There is almost no way to protect against that. I'm more inclined to forgive, rather than punish, if it doesn't involve personal or property harm.

This week was as good as it gets for the Chargers:
Denver, Raiders and Chiefs all lost, Chargers won

Next week:

Chiefs go to DC and play WFT -- maybe WFT will have a good week - seems unlikely
Vegas v Denver - somebody has to win. Probably would prefer Denver at home actually

Ravens v Chargers - this is not going to be easy. Need to get that run defense figured out. Better tackling. But better to have this stuff coming off a W. This will be the third early kickoff in 6 games for the Chargers. So far , two for two!

Good point about the Bengals loss - conference game. Chargers now own the tiebreaker against Browns - be nice to own the tiebreaker against the Ravens too.
Chiefs loss was an AFC loss - as was Denvers - so that doesn't help in tiebreaker scenarios. Whatever it takes.

Don’t all players and coaches have “moral” clauses in their contracts for things like this?

Ray Lewis either killed or was certainly with friends who killed someone. He went on to be Super Bowl mvp that season. So I don’t know about the NFL moral clauses. And besides Gruden said/wrote this stupid stuff when he as working for ESPN 10 years ago. He acted like a teenager facebooking his friends.
