Honeymoon’s over. Dallas came out faster and more physical going up 14-3 early. Red zone woes continue and getting worse. Run defense non existent. Run offense equally anemic. Opie, get it together.

Losing their first game in their new stadium with fans really sucks.

They had long pass plays - none like last year with Herbert dropping back, setting and throwing to a guy trying to outrace a corner on a fly pattern
Most times they went downfield when Herbert rolled to his right and the receiver was standing in an opening.

And that may still happen as they are all adjusting to a new scheme. But deep passes are the least of our concerns right now.

and both coaches played for field goals. Zimmer got to the 20 with a time out and didn't run another play. Easily had time to spike the ball - and throw a pass to the end zone. Or just run the ball to get closer .. as my motto - never leave it to the kicker

I was shocked with that move. He could have easily got 10 more yards. Luckily his kicker delivered.

During the preseason I was unhappy to see all the penalties, but I thought it will be different when the starters are playing. BUT, it's not. Where is the discipline? Is Staley just a happier version of milk toast? Come on coach, you have to improve on the dumb mistakes, it's your job! Kick ass and take names!

Agreed. I study depth charts. Kazee must be mentioned too, when healthy. DAL seeks energy up front, with this big turnover in DB population.

TBH, LAC foolishly took the Cowboys lightly. It was a bit of a trap situation with KC on deck.

Dak & Cowboys impressed vs Bucs D. Healthy Tyron + Zack greatly elevates DAL Oline.

Yeah and I think its easy to get set up when you see oh ok they are missing their two starting defensive ends and starting defensive tackle......and they have the reputation of having a bad defense. That pocket was a bit rough for Herbert. I'm kind of shocked the Chargers didn't exploit Parsons more....

Just arrogance. Greg the Leg has the leg but I personally wouldn't put any kicker in position to have to kick a 57 harder to win a game.

Staley gives good press conferences but we need to see it on the field now.
