He has been running the team for 4 or 5 years now.....they still suck. They are going to still suck. Reggie McKenzie has made at least as many bad personnel decisions as good, and I would argue it is strongly weighted to the bad. Every offseason now for 5 years we read how the raiders have made some good moves....positive direction...,blah blah blah....how does it finish? With a top 5 draft pick. I expect more of the same to be honest......why expect anything different until they show something different? Nobody wants to play there, at least while they have a career window.....as the window is almost closed, that is the pool of players that chooses to go there. They suck ass.

How about a rebuilding team that goes out and signs a shotload of over the hill guys to contracts like it is their prime time, then has to cut them after seeing them "perform" for a season and has to eat the cap hit? They have made potentially a few good picks....well they should...they draft in the top 5 every year. I still say it is more of "a broken clock is right twice a day" than any change in direction of personnel savy.

Last thing I want to do is argue Raider football with you, but they had a shitload of issues they needed addressed. The big thing is he kept out of the way. He knows his limitations and for better or worse he's letting McKenzie call the shots.
