There are alot of subconscious Charger fans in SoCal still pissed about the move. if Chargers contend, time passes and some will come back. I’ve seen a handful of hardcore haters shift this year due to Herbert and Staley. The key to building a base in LA is win a lot. Nothing else will work

But Browns and Raiders are not remotely the same attraction in LA. Browns have hundreds of fans in LA - Raiders have a million+. Raiders are the most popular team in LA, still. gangster family values rules a majority LA County. Islands of bliss surrounded by miles of shit, you feel it when you get on the freeway and leave your island, its there, its real. And the Raiders own shit-land. Shitlnd folk are loyal to the family.

There are so many people in LA I don't even think keeping the old fans is necessary. Eventually they will have a solid base. I bet there are fans of both the Rams and Chargers who just like the NFL experience. And that new stadium is the kicker. Everyone wants to go to a stadium like that.

Browns are a good team. Mayfield had a bad time throwing the last week. He was very inaccurate and I hope it carries over to tomorrow. Browns will get their rushing yards but just stop them from running wild on us and Chargers will win a close one.

The Browns' identity seems to be to run counter to the modern NFL and be a run-heavy, top-defense team of the old school variety. It seems that is what Stefanski is building there and has been successful at it. We will see if it works in the modern league. If there's one team I would root for other than the Chargers it is the Browns.

The NFL is a pass happy league and defenses are now built to stop the pass. It gives Cleveland an advantage.

Yes. A lot of teams could have signed him. But they thought someone who kicked and beat a woman didn’t belong on their teams. If the chiefs cut a player for character flaws, they must be pretty bad flaws.

Doesn't the browns team have a lot of injuries on Defense? So a weakened defense plus a non productive offense does not give the browns an advantage. Herbert > Mayfield so unless we pull another Dallas and shoot ourselves in the foot I would say the advantage is too the Chargers.
