Staley/Herbert = reverse the curse. Can u feel it?
Oh, I feel it. I've just been reserved in embracing it and expressing it. Although tomorrow it'll be full throated enthusiasm. I have a feeling we're going to smoke the Browns by double digits.
Here's something I don't quite understand: Why haven't the Chargers activated Kelley from the practice squad? With Jackson listed as doubtful, we have to assume he's not going to play. They can't go into the game with only two running backs (plus Nabers). According to this ESPN article from July, a team can activate "up to two practice squad players to the active roster, without removing any current players, before 4 p.m. ET the day before a game." That time has passed.
If the Chargers beat the Browns and Ravens the next two weeks, and with wins already over the Chiefs and Raiders, it makes 4 potential playoff teams they will have a tie-breaker over. Another potential playoff team in AFC is the Bengals, whom they play in Week 13 on the road. The one team the Chargers do not play are the Bills, who have a cupcake schedule, largely because the other three teams in the division are all one-winners. The Bills do play the Bucs and the Saints on the road later, and they also host Carolina and they play at Tenn. There might a loss or two among those games, but otherwise Buff's schedule resembles the Broncos first three games. They get the 1-3 Pats twice, 1-3 Jets twice and 1-3 Dolphins once, in addition to the Jags, 1-3 Falcons and 1-3 Colts at home. Perhaps the Bills' toughest remaining game is tomorrow night in KC. Who do you root for?
Good points.
Definitely the Bills though.
Need to win the division first.
Not sure what KC schedule looks like.
They still have to play Cowboys and Packers.
