135. Rashaad Penny, RB, Seattle Seahawks (26)
It went largely unnoticed, but Penny was one of the best backs in the NFL down the stretch last season. From Weeks 13 to 17, he totaled 516 yards, which was second only to Jonathan Taylor. And Penny averaged 6.3 YPC on 119 rushes overall. Ready for a surprising stat? In the last 10 years, there have been 454 running back seasons with at least 100 carries. Among that sample, Penny’s 2021 ranks first in terms of YPC. Penny, the 27th overall pick in 2018, looked like a bust through his first three seasons. We’re talking about a small sample in 2021. And he’s appeared in only 37 games in four seasons. But it will be fascinating to see how his market shapes up.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
The Wasted Decade is done.
Build Back Better.

IMV...
We are sorely missing 5th, 6th talented DBs for coverage, NICKEL, DIME duty.
Think Domann. Pitre. Mathieu
EDGE. Run and pass.
Think Karlaftis. Paschal.
We must now contain Patrick and Russell.
Jordan Davis is in play because of versatility to play 1T, 3T, 5T.
A dirty work 1T is also needed.
Penning, Raimann remain in play at #17.
But I have a sneaking suspicion that we roll with Pip,
and draft a mid rounder,
such as Zach Tom or Spencer Burford.
Dynamic receiving, Flex TE and RB #2 are the remaining PONs.
Many, many options there.Maybe we do play modern football.

I feel you on Pitre, but I still think, ultimately, a better player will be there...but if we blow a big wad in FA on just a couple of marquee players, and could use some more mid round picks, I could see him as an option if we trade back deeper in the first round. Pitre and another day 2 pick might be better than #17.Adopted Bolt: Kimani Vidal RB
Final prediction: Latham OT, Colson LB, Sainristil CB,Rice WR, Zinter OG, Nourzad OC, MacLachlan TE, Vidal RB, Lovett DT

fills a position of need
You aren't beating the chiefs, raiders , broncos and the bengals, bills with average talent - you need to match their talent
If not Jackson, followed by CArlton Davis maybe Ward would be fine too
But this should be their first call
I am good letting Kyzir get paid by another team and signing a guy like Klain or Hicks - if that means more can be spent on CB, IDL, IDL and Edge
