Tillery is better than Covington. People have this unrealistic dream of cutting him. Tillery is better than his haters make him out to be. I'd like to see Staley utilize him in a way that won't make him look as bad.
Don’t kid yourself, he’s bad. Only way he looks good is there’s a breakdown on the OL.

T.Y. McGill is still playing, as it turns out. The Vikings just placed him on IR:

The Vikings need to set their 53-man roster by 3 p.m. as NFL teams set their squads for the regular season, which begins for them against the Packers on Sept. 11.

              Damn right I'm a hater.
hate when I see cowboy-scrubs pushing him around like a mop.
So if Staley wants to let him come in on 3rd and 10, sure.
but I hate him on early downs.

Plus the Ravens are a running team. It’s a better job for a running back there than here.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Tillery's saving grace is that he can rush the passer from the IDL better than anyone else on the roster. That is his only redeeming asset and the only reason he's still on the roster. He'll be in on obvious passing downs. He's an absolute liability as a run defender though.

Hec he is a huge upgrade to Bandy and even Guyton.

Just sayin. Probably won't pursue it.
Why an improvement over Guyton? Guyton had more yards, more avg yards, and actually caught some TDs...

Yeah, but opposing teams will just check down to a running play at that point.
