Tillery's saving grace is that he can rush the passer from the IDL better than anyone else on the roster. That is his only redeeming asset and the only reason he's still on the roster. He'll be in on obvious passing downs. He's an absolute liability as a run defender though.

Tillery also is owed 1.2m guaranteed for a total of 2.1m
So unless traded, you are still on the hook for 2.1m basically as 1.2m to Tillery and 900k his replacement

Why an improvement over Guyton? Guyton had more yards, more avg yards, and actually caught some TDs...

TBs recieving corps was better than ours. remember they had Evans, AB and Godwin and now they have Julio Jones. Scotty Miller is Tyreek fast.

Yeah I'd like Tyler Johnson. It's not a shot at Guyton. Just like Johnson better. Guyton probably wouldn't even make that squad.

Just my opinion. I liked Johnson in that draft. Guyton has a year more experience in him.

I can't understand why. They've been in the league about the same amount of time with elite QBs and Guyton has produced twice as much. Plus Guyton and Herbert have substantial familiarity with each other, going to back to training camp in 2020 when Herbert was throwing to the 2nd team. Guyton also has been in this offense for a year.

I just do not see a surprise.. Maybe in the DB room like Deane over Webb. Maybe Alohi Gilman gets cut but they probably need him on ST.

You can’t bounce leonard, he’s only the 3rd legit outside corner guy on the team, we have too much slot tyoe corners already to keep hall and hall is middle of the road at best, leonard can fly and at 6’2” teams are lining up hoping we cut the kid, someone will decelop hi and I’d rather it be us, they found a diomond in the rough with leonard, think campbell but with youth and upside…he can be taught ti turn for the ball and how to improve his tackling, the guy is lightning fast and you can’t teach that…that first preseason game it was comical how fast he got downfield when he tackled the PR before he caught the ball, the blockers I think thought he was a ram player, LOL…

Lots of potential. I'm excited for him.
