I think Tillery is kept, now. As a courtesy, vested vets have a better chance of signing onto a new team if released before the final cut. I have no issue with keeping him, as long as he is worth the roster spot over the rest of the cast offs.

I think the only reason Tillery makes the roster is because he's the best IDL pass rusher they have.

Not surprised by Bandy cut. Mildly surprised by Covington. He is a good utility player, lockerroom guy and he is fairly cheap. I thought Tillery would go instead of him. Gaziano I thought was also likely to get cut. The talent around him has improved a lot. Last year he would have made the team for sure.

Thinking now that Nabors will be retained, along with Horvath. Nabors might be a H-back. Almost certain that the QBs will stay at 3.

I agree, fehoko was fighting both covington and to a lesser extent gaziano for the 6th spot…they are both gone so fehoko should be in for sure…

Fehoko >> Covington in PS games, apparently coaches saw enough similar in all of the practices. Tillery retained as Mr 3rd down, i believe is the excuse coaches told themselves. Maybe being close to cut and now relegated to spot backup will finally light that fire that we’ve seen on every 4th or 5th play or so from him.
