I think the problem is that we overachieved at the beginning during what was supposed to be our toughest stretch, and that gave us false hope. Maybe the reality is that we were much closer to the 5-7 team that finished the season than the 4-1 team at the beginning because of our roster.

So basically the same as Lynn’s last year after the OL overhaul?

Don’t know why you’re letting the defensive genius off the hook. Everybody wants Jones and Chenna back and Linval Joseph was well regarded this past season. Bosa is Bosa. So there was enough talent on the DL

Yet Staley said bolstering the DL is a priority. Joseph likely won't be back and hopefully we go younger and better. Chenna came on later and hopefully going forward he gets more comfortable.

Need better LBs too imo. Murray and Tranq need to be upgraded. Murray it won't happen but I'd try and trade him.
