I loved Herbert going into last year. But week 18 took me to another level of believing. If we lose because Mahomes outplays Herbert, so be it. But I say we've got a great D and so just send Herbert out there and live or die by how he plays. Put the game in his hands.

That should be good enough to win most weeks.

I hope so. In last week's game, the Chargers were pretty dominant but the Raiders were within 5 pts when they started their last drive. That is Chargering. But then the defense shut them down hard. That is anti-Chargering.

But being out-scored 16-7 by the Raiders in the 2nd half is Chargering. That can't happen in KC and I want it to stop going forward.

Play keep-away from Mahomes. It sounds so simple. Especially if you're completing 75% of your passes at 6+ yards per attempt.

KC played this LAC offense twice and barely escaped with an overtime W once, we won the other.
This year LAC is significantly better on D, STs and some on O.
We should be favored.

I'm not so sure, Roo. A less-than-100% Jackson, who could be committing what I consider to be a problem for most pro athletes (coming back too soon from injury), has two negatives associated with it: 1) He won't be at his best and; 2) He may be risking aggravating the injury, which could keep him out and/or less than 100% for longer. We need Jackson at peak health, or close to it, for the long haul. If this was a do-or-die, or must-win, or playoff game, then sure. But tonight is none of those, so the risks associated with him playing outweigh the benefits, IMO.
