Depends. What if the coaching staff instructed him not to use timeouts. In this circumstance it would have been very prudent for him to call a timeout especially when were going in for the go ahead touch down. Better for us to experience this kind of miscalculation now than in the playoffs. Herbie is still light years better than Rivers with all his stupid picks.

Guess I’m remembering at least one game last year he threw a pick-6 to seal the loss. And marveling at how stupid that play was last night. And wondering, does our golden boy have an issue? Cuz we had that game, D did it’s job limiting Mahomes to 20 points. The way our D was playing, short of giving them 7 points, I think we win it. Maybe not, but we sure did lose it cuz of that one bonehead play.

We should have been more aggressive in the first half, we should sit Eckler cause he is too small...and stop rotating backs so much...just stay with one or two..I like that NE veteran.,..and blitz more now that we have all these guys. I mean...we lost anyway...why not go for it? (not on 4th down though)....the play calling was better under Lynn. And no matter how the guys play..." Same problem with all our QBs past and present. Throw quick inside and your receivers are not ready and it's a quick interception. Now we're blaming our boy wonder for the rest of the teams miscues? Other players are failing as well including our coaching staff. Why the fuck do we have mediocre OC and Mediocre back up QBs? Sorry, I'd rather have Herbert to watch week in and week out vs. the retards we have running the show.

Seemed like Everett was supposed to cut in but he cut out. One of the problems when you run no huddle is all the receivers may not be getting the play calls as clearly as when you’re in the huddle. Especially when a player is trying to go off to the sidelines to check out, I doubt he got the play call at all. He just lined up and winged it.

Nothing has been determined yet. However IF there is no playoffs this season it will be because of coaching. Everyone knows a good HC would at the very least get this squad into the playoffs. Remember the Chiefs are one of the top teams in the league and we are going to have to chop them down to get where we want to go. The game was not a blow out!

Nope, just dont agree with much of that. This is the first year Staley has the defense with the personel that fits for his type of play for one thing. It's likely THE reason for going for it so much last season. Didn't trust them.
He knows he has a lot better defense now.

Ekeler is too small to take every snap i agree but he is a playmaker. Sit him? Sure ok, smart move. Just bench him.
And nothing wrong with rotating RBs. Kelky once again had the best YPC.
