Dmac, I looked it up, and here's Day's resume. He's bounced around a lot, most of it QB and quality control coach. Could anyone on the offensive staff be worse than Lombo?

If some tackle needing team is willing to deal away a sure handed fast WR, I think I'd be willing to listen.

have got us retaining Scott, Fehoko, Fox, Carter, Parham and Van Noy and letting the rest go which includes Tillery, Nasir, Chase Daniel, Covington, Clapp, Reeder, Rodgers, Jason Moore, Guyton, Pips, Sony, Tranq, Storm, Stick, Kemon Hall, Callahan, Feiler and Mike D.

and don't see the either of Keenan nor Bosa restructuring, and.... think there is a good chance that the whole coaching staff is excused from the building.... hoping for Brian Flores/Joe Brady in their stead.

Thanks - i saw the list of his various stops and position assignments in his career. He’s been around the league for awhile, he’s not a raw kid. But if they were to blow out Lombo - why immediately promote a position coach on the same staff when they likely have options of experienced OCs or a choice of all position coaches across the entire league?

Why will he be different than what we have now? Has he ever called plays before anywhere? What is his offensive philosophy and play designs, what will be the same and what will be different?

Or is he just continuity that we hope just makes more aggressive play calls in the second half? Everyone here loves continuity

We should wipe the ol white board clean and look far and wide. If he wasn’t here - is he the first guy we interview? If he is, great - i don’t know.
