most can catch, those who can’t become DB’s. Very few have ability to separate, sit down and find seam in coverage. That is his gift.

Lombardi should exploit that and bludgeon the Brownies secondary.

With KA and J. Palmer out, I think he is.

I agree. There are some size and speed prospects out there that look great for the future.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

This right here. BGO. Bandy Gets Open. He's like Hunter Renfrow. Not big. Not fast. But he creates separation. Do you remember those two catches he made last week? He was all by himself. Part of that is because he's an unknown and defenders aren't paying much attention to him. But that won't last long if he starts making plays.

Bandy can get open, catch the ball, and get first downs. Those are good things in my opinion. I've seen way too many plays where our other receivers did not get these things done. I know it's a small sample size and I'm not ready to anoint him a star, either. But for goodness sake, try him out for more than a half before demoting him back to the practice squad. Of course he will make mistakes, but I've already seen enough drops by our star receivers this year so he won't be alone in that regard.

I've got a prediction for the game - not a score prediction - that I know some of you will scoff at. But I'll wait until tomorrow morning and put it in the game day thread.

We’re going to get more running yards than the Browns?

Okay, here's my prediction for the Browns game...not that I want it to happen, but this is what's likely to happen: In the first half, Lombo dials up some creative mid-range routes for both Mike Will and Bandy, plus even a few decent gainers by Everett and McKitty, and we lead, 20-13 at halftime. In the second half, Lombo goes conservative again with Lomboball, and runs up the gut repeatedly for nada, with some incomplete or short gain stick route passes, or we get stuffed with those silly behind the LOS passes, and we go three and out repeatedly and fall behind, 23-20...then, late in the 4th quarter, Lombo finally opens up the O again and we tie it up on a figgie, but the Browns use their effective ground game to eat up the clock and close it out for a 26-23 win...

Their defense is giving up more yards on the ground than our defense. Just doubt we have the backs to do it. Would be a good week to get it right. One thing we’re missing is Herbert running a couple of times a game for 10-15 yards a pop

I look for big games from:
                        Joshua Kelly
                        Donald Parham
                        Kenneth Murray

Bandy is also capable of getting swallowed up by press coverage.

We need a variety of looks. We need WRs with diversity beyond the Slot.

That said, it would be nice to see Bandy go off.
