NFL are always hypocrites. I don't believe they care about player safety just by the constant push of Thursday night football and then adding a Friday game after Thanksgiving.

Sofi should have turf from opening day.

As for FIFA ,...I don't give even a single F about soccer and won't watch 1 mimute of it.

That’s a pretty damning statistic. It’s not the same turf as the 70’s and 80’s. They have made strides in softening it but it’s still not the same. Guys can get injured on any surface but the weird non contact injuries seem more likely on turf.

Lol, no kidding. Not even FIFA level or remotely close. US Soccer is like the scout team backups on a relegated club in the UK.

What is "FIFA" level? MLS will never get to the level of the top leagues in Europe, which is totally fine with me.

Bringing this back to Sofi, I guess they can put a grass field in Sofi for a few soccer games off season for the World Cup, but I'm not convinced that they can maintain one all year long.

I meant top European leagues, sorry. I lived in England once, long ago, and saw what a different game they play. Its almost interesting.
