Let's hope we're not decimated by injuries this year...science shows that the Sofi turf is very unyielding to any player planting and trying to turn...not to mention landing hard on that stiff Sofi turf surface...

I wonder if Bosa's slipping issues in the Fins game were related to the cleats he was using. On grass, you generally get better footing and less slippage. But, as I mentioned in the article at the beginning of this thread, artificial turf like that at Sofi increases the injury risk, especially when attempting to plant and turn, because the surface is so unyielding. This increases the risk of ankle and knee injuries. I wonder if Bosa went with different cleats to reduce injury risk, but at the expense of poorer footing and higher incidence of slippage...

Interested in seeing if there is an issue with Cowboys stadium. That's been there for a long time.
