Growing grass at SoFi is a pipe dream. The playing surface is literally underground, like 40 feet. (At least)

Flight path of LAX they couldn't build up.

    It's not happening.
You would think, but an article I posted above says its possible. Science I guess.

Sofi should have turf from opening day.

As for FIFA ,...I don't give even a single F about soccer and won't watch 1 mimute of it.
Friday would be one day better than Thursday - Thursday is an abomination for a team that just played on Sunday.

turf is an outrage and turf in LA is a fucking high crime and misdemeanor. Turf in LA? W. T. F.!

Yep...it's like putting a patch on the Titanic...it's still gonna sink...

L.A....best weather in the country, except maybe San Diego...IDEAL for natural grass...and we go with artificial turf...like bringing a baloney sandwich to a banquet...

                  same.
It's sad to see grown men/pissed off, former Charger fans in San Diego trying their darndest to talk themselves into MLS.

                  • Imagine being a multi billion dollar industry and still treating your players like this. Shameful.

Lol, no kidding. Not even FIFA level or remotely close. US Soccer is like the scout team backups on a relegated club in the UK.

(relegated, for those not attuned, means your club sucked so bad you were demoted from the Premier league to some minor league B-level)

What is "FIFA" level? MLS will never get to the level of the top leagues in Europe, which is totally fine with me.

Bringing this back to Sofi, I guess they can put a grass field in Sofi for a few soccer games off season for the World Cup, but I'm not convinced that they can maintain one all year long.

I meant top European leagues, sorry. I lived in England once, long ago, and saw what a different game they play. Its almost interesting.
