This one is only about 3 & 1/2 hours from my house and I imagine tickets would be fairly easy to get as neither team is exactly lighting it up,. I just don't enjoy going to the games like I used to anymore. I like enjoying a beer as much as the next man, but being around thousands of obnoxious power drinkers ready to throw hands because the ref didn't throw a PI flag is not my idea of a good time.

If we had a group of reliable WRs I’d feel better about this game. Also, we are at the bottom of the nfl in run defense and Atlanta is a run heavy team. It’s a strength against weakness game and what should be our strength in the passing game is heavily muted.

I just happened to turn on the TV yesterday and the local news had their Falcons report on. They showed Patterson practicing for the first time in awhile and said he may be back Sunday. He has to be licking his chops when looking at film of our run D. Just what we didn't need.

Against Seattle, I think it was Seattle. It was the initial 4th down drive - where they went fast to try to get Seattle unprepared. Well they had three WRs in the game, Allen, Carter and MW and bunched them
So
1) they bunched the formation to show basically a run
2) they didnt have good blockers in the game
If you have KA, MW and Carter in - spread them wide to give the threat of the passing game on 4th down

As much as Gus Bradley drove me bonkers (oh those 3rd and 15+ conversions), he at least had the wherewithal to scheme a totally new D during the playoffs. That playoff win against the Ravens was so unique and out-of-the-box that it caught them (and us fans) off-guard. And it was wonderful. A truly Belichick-type moment.
And I've not seen anything like it from our D under Staley. And this fact (when you have Derwin James) is a crime.
