This is a badly coached team...... bad training, which leads to injuries and not being able to tackle..... and horrible horrible play calling.... we rush plays that should be taking time with..... we refuse to use our 240 lb FB in short yardage situations..... instead we keep beating up little Ekler...... how many games can we go with only handing off to Ekler and dumping off passes to Ekler???? he is being covered e=heavily on most of those plays......
coach....here's a hint that your metrics wont show.... opponents defenses actually watch your boring film!!!! and know all they have to do is cover Ekler!!!!
move Ekler out to the slot and start Spiller at RB...... at least we will have 2 to 3 usable players if we count Everett...... otherwise i dont see how we score.... Ekler is good but he is not D. Henry...... yet our coaches stupidly use him that way......

John was the head of scouting before nepotism moved him to the top spot in regards to player selection. John thinks he knows how to pick players and construct a team and has influenced every single decision Telesco has made.
Replacing Telesco would be John admitting he shouldn’t be making player decisions and a willingness to let a new GM make those decisions. That ain’t happening.
Telesco is just an empty sack representing John’s decisions.

The defense is still capable of keeping Falcons in check but the question is can the offense put up any points without Allen and Williams. Probably could with Sean Payton but with Lombardi? I think no ffin way.

When the GM reported to Dean, Dean let the GM, like Beathard, Butler, and AJ call the shots. Dean had no other experience in the organization and he relied on experienced professionals.
Meanwhile, Dean installed John in the scouting department where he ascended to the top spot. As top dog in scouting, you sure as hell believe you are qualified to make player recruiting decisions.
When Dean stepped aside from having the GM report to him, he gave that responsibility of God to John. Telesco reports to John and there is no doubt he is not hands off like Dean because John was “trained” in the organization to think he knows what he is doing via his internship in scouting….which by the way were years and years of lousy drafts.
Telesco is Just an empty sack that does whatever John wants him to do. There is no way John would fire Telesco and bring in a GM who wants total control like the majority of them in the NFL.

I wonder if that’s by design to reduce stress on his injured ribs.
It’s a much simpler throw with less body contortion from the pocket as opposed to throwing on the run.
