You know, the more I think about this and speculate (and that's all we can do) I don't think it was something exotic like Tillery fighting Mack in the lockeroom that led to his release. I think it might be as simple as him expecting to be the starter given Johnson's injury and being told he will come off the bench in some spots just like before.
