TT is a dreadful GM that has a losing record and if he was on any other team he probably would of been fired a long time ago.

Why we lost: Herbert passed 47 times and was sacked 5 times and hit 14 others. Carr passed 30 times and was not sacked and only hit twice. Draft linemen early and often for both sides.

Translated we lost because our Oline sucks big time, and our DC and D sucks. Staley's biggest mistake was not bringing in a tried and proven DC and it should cost him his job! I think this is because he thinks he knows it all! Have you ever heard Staley say we lost because I needed to be better etc. Its always because a player did this or did that...... He never once says I need to do a better job.

We have been under Staley.
Slater, Zion, Mack.
3 of the 4 1st/2nd rd picks are line of scrimmage.
They also added some OL/DL via free agency.
But only 2 remaining are healthy. There are 5 quality line of scrimmage players on the shelf, that's bad for any team in the league. The depth is being severely tested as expected.

The Chiefs OL got wiped out down the stretch run and even the great Andy Reid had no answer. They got beat up front at the snap and Mahomes was running for his life. If I'm a KC fan I'm thinking the football gods screwed us out of a SB Win with all the injury that year.

Of all the OL Telesco has drafted/signed, how come none of them seem to stay healthy/effective? This dates all the way back to his first ever pick at GM - DJ Fluker.

It's extra maddening because he HAS invested the resources into the OL - it just hasn't panned out. Regardless, 10 years is an eternity in the NFL and his record speaks for itself.

I would say draft and bring in proven lineman in FA too. Their draft picks for the lines havent' been that stellar unless it is a no mind 1st rounder.

I would add that the ONLY remaining starting offensive lineman standing in the second half was Matt Feiler. Name another team today that played down four starters on the offensive line. Again, this is not a black swan, this is systemic.

Agree. I think they had Trey Pipkins as the swing tackle and Storm Norton as the starting RT . You know they were in trouble from the start if there was any injuries. It is like they think just barely adequate depth is good.

Only recently. Our OL was mediocre for 7 yrs up until the 2021 draft when they finally got serious and made some of the draft picks you list . Lots of draft and Fa busts too. Pouncey ,Bulaga, Chris Watt, Jerry Tillery etc etc

There are many teams w new QBs like us overperforming. Think the Bills, Jets, Giants, SF, PHI, CIN,BAL etc. Compared to those teams we are underperforming IMO and it is not on Herbert.
