I wish they’d make any play or call reviewable by challenge. According to this: https://sports.nbcsports.com/2022/02...f%20a%20playerOriginally posted by Formula 21 View Post
Once the official calls a play dead, anything beyond that is unchallengeable.
it says any play involving the sideline is able to be challenged (Keenan Allen out of bounds BS call)
Then it also mentions that a challenge can NOT be made involving the spot of ball (Colts challenge by Jeff Saturday when he was clearly short of the first down marker) and not only did they review it they reversed it. Totally bogus.
Do the refs pick and choose what rules they choose to enforce or allow? The contradictions of their own rules is idiotic.

I guess our guys are running the wrong fucking route every fucking game all the damn timeOriginally posted by nomad1946 View Post
The question I have, was that by design, or did either KA or Everett run the wrong route?

Stop being so melodramatic. I get the Lombardi complaints but not Staley.Originally posted by Air Coryell 84 View Post
got damn I don’t want this guy getting praise for the shitshow he put out week after week and the wins we got were in spite of his horrible play calling. I saw him up in the booth and he was blinking a mile a minute like he knew his ass was on the line. He kind of looked like someone I know and is also a person that sucks at their job and who is in over their head, and happens to be an account manager which makes no sense. If there was justice in this world, both of these people would be fired.

Yeah that’s just wishful thinking to put it nicely. Will never happen for a variety of reasons including that no self respecting HC would ever accept a demotion like that.Originally posted by Air Coryell 84 View PostSomeone posted this on Reddit and I agree 1000%
Payton as HC and stayley as defensive coordinator with a ton of power. Still keep doing the locker room speeches and all his other shit he likes doing etc but the mastermind needs to be Payton.
The coaching and coordinator is a big problem for the chargers. We beat the colts but honestly it wasn't convincing the offense was disgusting to watch.
With how our defense played we should have dropped 40+ points on the colts today. Weird game and an unconvincing win. If we look like that in the playoffs it won't be a win in the wild card I can assure you that.

I don't get it either.Originally posted by dmac_bolt View Post
I wondered too and if they live there/near. It’d be ironic for ex-SD fans living in the midwest to still be pissed the Chargers moved to LA. I know several like that, born raised SD and USED too be lifelong Charger fans. Moved far away a long time ago but now hate the Chargers for moving to LA.
I know a lot more still here in SD that hate them. I see the hate as unresolved love, I encourage them to come back and love freely again.
One of my best friends moved to Chicago area, and became a Bears fan. Blech, I puke a little in my mouth just saying it.
By the way we got in to Chicago late Christmas eve, -12 degrees. Arctic cold. I like California.
Great game, Lucas Oil Stadium was pretty cool, Indy fans were nice.

I quoted the wrong part of that post. I meant to only quote the last paragraph. Would love to see Peyton fill in as OC for us as someone mentioned either here or on another forum, but my main point was the part I highlighted in bold.Originally posted by Xenos View Post

The above paragraph that I quoted in wu’s post I wasn’t really responding to but now I will. Yes the rationale of Staley picking and choosing the 4th down calls made no sense as per usual. 2nd and goal on the 2 and we don’t go for it on fourth down? That is kind of retarded I don’t care how you slice it

OK...watched every angle on the Derwin hit...I see why they called it, but the ejection is ridiculous...it may in fact be a rule the refs had to follow, but I don't like it. And he should be fined lightly or not at all...he simply missed. He was obviously aiming for shoulder, and at the last minute, he even tries to lean his helmet in to avoid helmet to helmet, and have the impact happen on the shoulder/side, where he was aiming....a mistake, but not a dirty play.2026 Post combine Sig Mock 2.0
