There's no way you bring Staley back after this. I like Staley personally and feel sorry for him. But there's no way even Dean Spanos can justify bringing Staley back.

I just don't see this happening with Payton. Maybe Harbaugh, but 90% sure Staley will come back.

Before news broke about Mike Williams' back yesterday, I would have said 90% he's back. But that news along with this total collapse I'd be shocked if he wasn't canned now. Only because I believe Dean already knows the league thinks he is incompetent and he will try and save face by firing him. I don't faith that he will spend to bring in the best GM or HC though. He has and will always treat this team as a profit margin first.

Would have zero credibility with the players. Especially the ones that went through both 2021 and 2022 endings.

Couldn't imagine being a player and breaking my body for these guys after these kinds of endings.
