I can't believe it. Every game they have at least one cut to Joe Lombardi calling plays from the booth. There are no stills on the internet anywhere. Ugh so frustrated right now.

No seriously though. Someone has to have some insight. It looks like some device that has 4-5 buttons on it. He is always punching something into it. No one has any info? Now my curiosity is through the roof.

My guess is the headset amplifier/ volume control box? Considering the chargers play 18 away games and all

That's a good guess but looking at the device Im not so sure. I mean it could be but A. it's in a strange position. Literally attached to the table off of his right elbow. Like I said I have never seen anyone else use such a device. That's what peeked my curiosity in the first place. AND i have scoured the internet for a picture but can't find one anywhere. I only see it on game day clips when they cut to Lombardi in the booth for a short clip.

Sad thing is if he had mastered that game he might have had more productive 2nd halves in the NFL!
