What is the percentage? What is percentage of all other pass plays? It is a staple of every NFL team imo, why would every team continue to do something that is so statistically bad?

Maybe another aspect is the safety factor. Thrown correctly and its your receiver or nobody getting it. That may factor in to it being called so much, especially on downs 1 and 2. Beats me - i just know every team uses that play.

Could be. I bet Moore is happier to be with another coach that at least understands that the game is changing (unlike McCarthy).

Agree, i only wonder if McCarthy has authority to fire his OC without Jerry’s signoff. OC sure didn’t seem to be the problem in Dallas. Starting point would be their QB, then look across the LOS at the D …

Yeah, I think the OC firing was McCarthy's call... I'm glad to scoop up their mistake.

The Cowboys did select Mazi Smith and DeMarvion Overshown... 2 guys I liked.

I believe (without any proof whatsoever ) that Moore will have more freedom to run the offense the way he sees fit here - as opposed to Dallas, and I agree the Mike McCarthy / Jerry Jones pairing has a dinosaur-ish feel to it. Moore's going from one extreme to another from an ownership involvement standpoint.
