How can it be a low ball offer if he couldn’t do better anywhere else? He was free to sign with anyone and couldn’t find a better deal anywhere else…

I would put a first round grade on Gibbs, guys that twitchy-deadly in space score a lot. If he was a move-the-chains guy, 2nd or 3rd, maybe. But get him the ball and half a step, watch out. Can’t teach that, either you have it or not, he has it. Will be a great player for whichever team nabs him.

Now that we have re-signed Parham, let's all start praying for his health. He's a promising player if only he could stay healthy.

Jeremiah had him #28 in the 1st. If Ekeler isn't signed, Bijan is gone. I'd pull the trigger at 21. We need a good RB.

If we gave up on Eke and drafted Gibbs round 1, I think I'd be disappointed considering how similar their skill sets are.
Ultimately I'd be hopeful of any weapon with Moore's approval, but to me it's pretty straightforward, imho there's only 3 skill-players that give us elite matchup advantages

Every other weapon guy is either redundant or over thinking.

we have our starting Oline in place, so I'm not drafting OL round 1
So those 3 or blue chip defender that falls.

Sure...Ekerly wants $10 mil and we could get Gibbs at $4 mil (Much younger) and his speed is off the charts...I want to draft 2 RBs in this draft and it would not be a waste...

It depends on how Eke left.
So far, I'm very happy with every move and non-move the front office has made.
Gibbs projects to be a similar player and should consider himself optimally successful to ever lead the league in TDs.

That was what I thought last season. He’s a potentially fine weapon if he stays healthy. Well, he didn’t. At all. And so now we hope again. Time is a flat circle

I basically don't believe in using our #1 on a RB, but Gibbs reminds me of Sproles more than he does Ekeler - because of his speed. Sproles gave our team a special dimension, he could bust through the line and few players could catch him. Gibbs can do that too. Sproles repeatedly gave us great field position with his punt returns, Gibbers could do that too. If he is led by an OC with a good imagination, he could be s great addition to any team.

So, while I don't like the idea of using our first-round pick on a RB, I sure won't cry about it if they take Gibbs or Bijan - it sure would be nice if they could get him in the second though.

If he gained 50 pounds of muscle I would be more optimistic about him surviving a full season.
