He ran a simple out and some opposing team's backup missed an assignment.

I need a bit more before nominating him for Canton.

      me three!

But by all accounts, he's a first rate person - that's why Telesco drafted him.
My guess is that he was wanted elsewhere.

I commented on Zay Flowers. I agree that QJ is fearless and doesn’t mind the hit

2 more drops in yesterdays practice. Looking more and more like an overhyped bust. Should have taken a TE with that pick

I still can't believe we had Kincaid sitting there and we passed on him. QJ's hands aside (and we ALL knew that was a problem in college), we will regret not drafting Dalton for years to come...

I think I'd actually see both of them in a game before deciding.

OMG OMG OMG bust!!!!!! What a bust. "rolleyes"

Do you know how absurd you sound right now? To proclaim that before one game played is just flat out stupid. When he drops one in a crucial spot in a REAL GAME then we have issues.

People just like you were calling Chase a bust because of his drops in camp and pre season. That didn't age well for some. LMAO!

                      smh

Rookie season: 81 rec, 1455 yds, 13 TD's. Thats a tall glass of shut the eff up.

My only reservation about Kincaid was that he wouldn't fulfill the need for a TE who's a good blocker. The Bolts already have several who aren't. Instead, the Chargers chose QJ, who addressed a different need for the team.

If Kincaid turns out to be a Travis Kelce clone, then yes-- I expect we'll regret that the Bolts passed on him. I don't see the evidence, however, that would cause me to draw that conclusion. We're just going to have to see how it plays out, both for Kincaid AND for QJ. As Bolt fans, we'll always compare the two.

I know EYE will always compare Zion Johnson against OT Trevor Penning, because THAT's a guy that we, as fans, anticipated as a possible pick, and he went to the Saints a couple of picks later.

EYE think WR was more of a priority for Kellen Moore and his vision of the offense with Herbert at QB (which could be different than the offense he ran with Dak Prescott). Gerald Everett is not on the same level of Kelce or an Antonio Gates that is for sure. But he is a top 10 TE and that is probably good enough. We as Chargers have the recent memory of one of the greatest in Gates and we tend to think we need to have a great TE to be an elite offense. But it's not necessary.
