Dotson is a classic case of someone to runs faster than his 40 time and imo likely went undrafted because no one wants a slow AND small guy.
It took Kelley 2 years to show anything, Dotson is showing more in 1 PS game.
he is Ekeler's replacement, period.
unless he's completely inept at pass pro, we will live with any "inconsistencies" in the run game we might see.
Every team needs a RB like him, whatever you call it, 3rd down, scatback, Ekeler was/is that guy to play that role, unfortunately had to be thrown into an RB1 role because we didn't have a true between the tackles guy.
ideally it would have been Mel Gordon and Eke as the change of pace. The future is Spiller/Dotson.
He's in, bank it and move on.HAMMER TIME
(can't touch him)

Running around the end for exciting yardage is so damn possible In preseason games against non 1st string LB’s and DB’s. Running explosively between the tackles is something else all together. Let us count the many times we enthusiastically tout certain players during preseason that end up getting cut or are relegated to the practice squad.

the kid has that change of direction, jump cut, then burst that fools defenders into thinking that they have contain and angle and then he's gone, you can't teach that shit and not everyone has it...ekeler is the only other guy we've had that could do that recently..."The author assumes no responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions in the content of this post.
