Rountree getting axed is evidence that the staff wants a bigger sample this coming game against the Saints...they are going to throw a lot at Dotson and it'll be interesting to see how he responds...I know he'll do great , running, catching the ball, and yards after contact, but what I want to see is if the kid understands his job in pass protection and can execute effective blocks to keep his QB upright?
I also like that Staley has made positive comments about Dotson in training camp. Basically Dotson has come to the Chargers on fire. I might have to elevate my Chargers wins prediction if this keeps up.

Agree...I'd like to have Dot in there doing pass pro for at least 2-3 plays...especially on the left side, where Stonefoot Sarell was a sieve vs. the Rams...

I think Dotson has the quickness and speed you want on your team. However, it was one-half of one preseason game. I want to see more of him before I crown him, but I'm sure looking forward to seeing more of him. They have one more RB that didn't play against Rams. I'm expecting to see him against the Saints.
        THE YEAR OF THE FLIP!

It wasn't Tucker. The guy I'm thinking of never played a regular-season game.

Looked really good and reminds me a little of Deuce Vaughn. Might end up being the perfect Ekeler replacement. I was a big Deuce fan.

I want dotson to make the roster too, especially to stash him for next year, but if he has to play during the 2023 season that'll mean the team is dealing with a bad rash of injury

I for one will wait 2 more preseason games before getting too excited.

Yeah, I can see him going to another team and becoming the next ekeler...the special teams coach can of fuck himself if he wants horvath over dotson, Staley and Moore have to override that bullshit...
this. Horvath will have to step up just to become the next Jacob Fucking Hester, ST Coach can eat a bag of Dotsons and he can like it.

Better yet, just tell the ST coach that we don't plan on punting the ball that much anyways this season.

Starting @4 wins, you'd have to increase your prediction by 1 every other week... just to come close to the actual W/L record by season's end.
