My first vehicle was a '82 Datsun King Cab pickup, stick shift, with a camper shell. Was great for hauling my stuff cross country multiple times when I was still in the training pipeline. Underpowered, no AC, but loved the utility.

I had the exact same truck as my first vehicle. Eventually, I took off the camper shell so all my friends could pile in the back.

LOL - you one-upped me again! Not that I doubted you could.
            Well played, good sir.

I'm looking forward to seeing Dotson get a good size sample, I want to see the pass protection, I want to see him on draws, screens, and wheel routes...

I want to see more of him too but I’m not putting bets he’ll be their featured back tonight. I think coaches still havent figured out the Kelley vs Spiller question they opened camp with yet, and those two were pretty even last week and also played well.

This likely dictates Dot’s potential for opportunities when the real season starts, if they find a roster spot for them. If he repeats last week, i pray they do. Coaches hate RBs that can’t pick up a blitzing LB or DB because their QB gets killed. Ain’t no RB worth getting a QB killed.

To me it seems like it's settled that Kelley is #2, he's got more experience and has become very dependable in pass protection and holding onto the ball which is one of the things that got him in trouble early on in his career...Dotson is not going unseat either Spiller or Kelley...and while they won't feature him, he'll get more than the 6-7 touches he had against the rams...They might even rest Kelley and let Spiller open the game then transition to Dotson...Dotson is fighting for a spot as RB#4 so he has bring something on STs too, he has to show them that he can become a core special teams player to make it so that the staff is okay letting go of someone else like Smart or Horvath, I don't think they will carry four RBs plus a FB too, I'd hate to see Dotson go to another team when we know we will be losing our top two backs to free agency in March of 2024...

Good take as of today. Spiller will have to do something to change that order imo. We don’t yet know if he will.

Agree on Dotson - if he shows he can play ST, he’s got a good shot

Dotson didn't do himself any favors with his pass drops today.

I'd like to see Dotson play with a real QB before I make any judgement on him.
