We Need to Cut Kenneth Murray (or not...)

It says something that we consider Murray to have had a great game even though he made a boneheaded penalty and his PFF rating was mediocre. He did make a few good plays which was very unusual for him.

I don’t think it’s going out on a limb to predict he’ll have a crappy game against the Vikings and we’ll be back wanting him released again. His football IQ is just so low, we’ve all seen him play for years now, there is no way he’ll be consistently good.

He didnt have a great game but he had a much better game than he usually gives us. He at least made some noticable plays.

It would be very Charger like for him to turn it on the year we turned down his 5th year option and not be able to afford to resign him.

I understand Herbert and Allen had a great game......but K9 literally won us the game and stopped the chargering.

Murray has looked better the last two weeks. Would be interesting to see if things click for him this season. Took a while for the other LB from his draft class, Patrick Queen, to develop but he did. Perhaps something similar will happen here with Murray.

Queen hasn't been that good. They didn't pick up his 5th year option either.

Queen wasn't good his first two years, showed some improvement last season and is off to a good start this year.
I'm aware his 5th year wasn't picked up. Same as with Murray, that's one reason why I'm comparing the two.

I have ripped Murray regularly (for good reason) in his time here, but the reports of him stepping up after having his first healthy offseason seem to be warranted. He still isn’t the most instinctual player ever, but I have to give him credit for stepping up this season.

Would be hilarious but great IMO. I also don’t know if I want to sign him to a long term deal given how bad he’s been and his position.
