New DC can bring in a bunch of new players - bring in a bunch of players on one year veteran make good deals and see what shakes out. Maybe you will get like 5 guys like Fox, Van Noy and Callahan in 2022 that combined with better coaching, ANY coaching will improve the defense to mediocre and not terrible.

Other than being blocked out on a few plays I disagree. He stopped a 4th down conversion and almost stopped another if there had been just a little help from his teammates.
