I was born in Monterey (Fort Ord!)and we relocated to SD in 76, my Dad tried to convert me to be a Chargers fan for the first 2 years we had season tickets, I was starting to make the move when the Holy Roller unfolded right in front of me.

Chargers for life after that day.

but I REALLY hate the Chefs. Way more thany any other pro team.

I hated the Chiefs since 2010. When they overtook us for the AFC West with a fraudulent team. And for the games where they beat us when we should have won. KC's end on their division reign is a long time coming. It's getting annoying and boring.

As for the Raiders. I should feel sorry for them. But when I look back on the things that franchise did in the past and that holly roller game, I don't.

I agree. Win by 1 or more points = decisive. its clear, unambiguous, irrefutable, ... ergo, its decisive.

I know a lot of guys would love nothing more than 40pt wins every single game. I find close games more entertaining and I do watch football for entertainment, so ... as long as its a W - closer is actually more exciting for me.

I'll be ok if they win by 10 for the rest of you, but it'll be a bit yawny for me.

I'd like 4-5 "yawners" then this season.

Oddly enough, I have never had the hate for the Raiders that some on here feel...for me, it's the Broncos...I absolutely loathe those guys, and hate losing to them, and love beating them, no matter the state of our two teams...but the Raiders are second place on my "hate" list...oddly, never really resented the Chiefs at all...but that has been changing lately

For me it's the Patriots for 2006 & 2007 & 2018 and all their shenanigans. All their rings are tainted and they should of lost to the Seahawks and Falcons and the other ones they won they barely did and could easily lost all of them except the last one versus the Rams when they ran thru the playoffs and Rivers and the Chargers outscored them 21-6 in the second half of the playoff game.

I don't think he'd leap over the other 4 WRs just like that but one advantage he does have coming in is he does know Moores system. That is a big plus. If he gets into the game, anything can happen, huh? FTR...

I think its a plus vs other WRs on other practice squads scattered about the league. I don't see the advantage yet to any of our receivers that have been with our team working in Moore's new scheme with Herbie since May. Fehoko disappeared in Dallas in week 6 last year to never appear again. is our offense really the exact same as Dallas? I don't x and o to that granular level, I don't know and appreciate the real X-O gurus here at TPB. but he talked about building it differently when he came in - some of this, some of that, yada yada.

I liked what I saw in Doss all preseason, he's allegedly not "track fast" but he sure was open alot. Fehoko is faster on a 40yard paper track. And of course, Bandy was open in 2022 preseason so grain of salt.

Chargers Wire was saying Sunday the Chargers will face a unknown commodity, the only unknown commodity I could think of would be the rookie. Maybe no Garop.
