"Heart issue" should be good enough... We seriously don't NEED to know the specifics as fans, none of our business. I assume it was an ablasion due to Afib, but that's IMHO. Whether anything is vaccine related or not there is no way the NFL will admit that. I'd just let it go.

I'm not advocating he does or doesn't reveal his injury, though we all know it will eventually come out. My point was there is no real advantage we gain by not revealing it. Staley has doubled down on his vague reporting on injuries. Ekeler was day to day and missed 3 weeks.

I get what your saying but perhaps Linsley doesn't want it released, if their reporting is within NFL rules we can do nothing about it. Does it really matter to us as fans anyway? I have Achane on my fantasy team and its killing me I don't know the extent of his knee injury, but whatever...

My point was, if we had to play a game the week after Herbert broke his thumb or his ribs last year, it would keep another team guess with game prep. For something like - when is Guyton eligible to return from IR, there is nothing to gain from being so vague.

Correct. Its the same amount of time as a return from Injured Reserve. I saw him on the sideline yesterday, it would be nice to know where he is at with the treatment, if any, or the diagnosis, or if he is working out on his own.

I think he'll be back. His doctors are just being cautious until they could clear him. I had my drivers license suspended for a couple of months due to a heart related incident, last year... just annoying until it was certain I wasn't going to faint all of a sudden. Its ultimately up to him, though... he doesn't need to play that brutal game.
