The Jets' defense is better than the Bears, but the Giants ran for over 200 yds on them today, more than half of that coming from Saquon.
If the Chargers play largely mistake free football like they did tonight, and the defense plays as well is it did against the Bears, the Chargers should be be .500 after this game.
And Derwin needs to be more aware about when to make the INT and when to bat the ball down.
Ceasers Sportsbook has the Chargers +2. The other sportsbooks that have published a line have the Chargers -1.5.

The kicker missed the field goal and that led to the Jets miracle where they tied the game, getting it into overtime where they won.

I would take Daboll still over Staley in a nanosecond.

I know it's not generally considered a savvy football trade idea for us, and everyone would rather be sellers than buyers...
but one Derrick Henry would instantly balance our offense with the inside ground game.
Our guards need as much help as possible and DH can make defenses respect us inside. If we're going "all in" still, this is a move that could have a ripple effect and wouldn't need reconfiguration on offense. Plug and play.
suddenly we have true rushing offense/play action.
Edit. The reason I posted it here on the Jets thread is because with the deadline and all, it would be perfect timing against this D front. And feasibly change the course of our season.Chargers vs. Everyone

Defense, Jets have a solid defense. Giving up 18 points per game I believe - performed well against Buffalo, KC and the Eagles
If the Chargers want to even think about the playoffs - they have to win Monday night against the Jets. Truly wish the trade deadline were even next week - as 3-5, easy to be a seller. 3-4, it takes balls that the Spanii don't have.

Lets not forget if a Bear WR hadn't fallen down, there was a long TD last night where our secondary left a guy all alone in our end zone. ,
Jets get a couple of big plays and get a lead, I could see the Chargers offense sputtering and doing nothing all second half. I think that has happened before.
The Chargers still have my fandom but they don't have my blind faith until they string together some actual meaningful wins

Staley needs to clean that up. Wilson is a pretty good player at WR too

Is this the game that Zack Wilson breaks out?
Jets defense will be tough. Will we be tougher?
I predict Herbert throws a 4th qtr INT... hopefully it's not a game clincher.
I actually think our run defense will do ok.ESPN Screename: GoBolts02
