And I was just trying to point out how truly crappy the Chargers cap sitiuation is and how much work they have to do to reastically field a roster of 53 plus a practice squad. Its much more than 34m over the cap.

Well, I wish we had a bunch of picks this year like the Packers did last season. They got several contributing TE's and WR's outside of their first round. Wicks, a 5th rounder, looks strong. As does Reed from the 2nd round. That Bo Melton guy (7th round by Seattle in 2022) looks fantastic too.

It is painful and the downfall of Telesco was his failure to hire on those 3rd and 4th rounders.

Not only that, but he doesn't make moves during the season, which is just as vital as the off-season. Just counting on draft picks is not going to be enough. The way Telesco operates as a GM is why the Charger teams led by him never won an AFC West title. He doesn't do much besides drafting and trading for draft picks. He let the coaches do whatever they want.
