Its only common sense. You cannot subject your franchise QB to that kind of abuse and expect him to perform at the top of his abilities.

The reality actually is that very few QBs would have kept getting up and been able to at least get their teams into the playoffs. But the fact that he was shellshocked by the end isn't surprising.
