They needed a vet center and now they have one. Hopefully they can still draft a starting caliber center for this year or a future starter, but now they aren't forced to reach.

Awesome! This solves a bigtime need and frees up some draft positions like most importantly CB and Secondary help, now we don't need a Center in the 2nd round. Good job Hortiz!!

I wouldn't be surprised to draft a C somewhere downstream but we have early picks for BPA. CB comes to mind.

              That's the Telesco way.

Somebody called this in the FA thread I think. I wonder how much Horitz is sleeping he’s been pretty busy.

probably the worst Hortiz move so far albeit low risk low reward move.
Consider: What team was that? Was it a BAD team? BAD ROOKIE QB who takes sacks?
So did the other 4 OL.

Goes from Bad team to good

This is our bridge to the future so they still need to invest in a center in the draft. Assuming we trade down I could definitely pick 3 being whomever is left between JPJ(not likely), Frazier or Barton.
                    I don't see them spending a 2nd on a center now.
They'll get someone a bit later ..... maybe Bortolini.

Those sound like 'famous last words'. Please do not tempt fate like that.

If Bradley Bozeman married Hannah Montana, would he be Bradley Bozeman Montana?

This makes the sting of losing Keenan a distant memory (sarcasm)
That was more about scheme fit, Bozeman did not fit the Panthers' philosophy of ball. The whole damn line over there in Carolina was garbage. Bozeman allowed 10 plus sacks this past season, but Bryce Young was sacked 62 times total. It says a lot. For as long as he held onto the the ball, big amounts of sacks were bound to happen. Get this man Bozeman back with a Harbaugh, and I think it's a way better fit with what he is good at... He'll do his job, but I see his eventual replacement being drafted this year.
