They lost Murray so hopefully a push. We always seem to give up career days to TE's though, I'd really rather the other AFCW teams didn't have any

Not sure that's a bad thing.

There were a number of decent OG out there, but they went pretty quick and got paid a lot of money.

As far as the next level of FA, they seem to be teams paying top dollar for good but not great players. Dontari Poe got $8 mill and he hasn't been very good in a couple of years.

I think Poe with Grady Jarrett is going to help the Falcons D, bottom line, I get the contract / money concerns but Atlanta went to the SB and are still trying to improve

But the Bolts claimed last place in the division and are working to improve the Spanii wallet. It's just a different philosophy of how to run a football team.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

The difference between us and the Falcons is injuries, offensive line and better special teams play. The front office can turn the second two around relatively quick. Who knows what's going on to help injury wise but we are due a break for sure.

When I look at the Bolts I see a pretty damn good team that can't put it all together. Every unit on this team is good enough to compete for a title except for the o line. I think TT has done a good job with the roster and I give him credit for trying to fix the o line but when you don't hit on draft picks like Fluker and Watt we have to overpay for journeyman in FA or off of cuts like Slauson.

I agree with Steve that we should be scouring the league for players like Villenueve to trade for but there just aren't many and it's not like a bunch of starters are just sitting on practice squads out there. I don't see how getting a Safety upgrade at 7 or a #2 WR is going to put us over the top. If someone "Special" is there I would take them. Miles Garret, Solomon Thomas, maybe Fournette are the sort of special players you don't pass on. There will be Safety prospects in round 2 and possibly 3 that could upgrade our safeties. If we passed on Willams and grabbed a WR like Ike Ford later I wouldn't be pissed.

Yes, Fournette IMHO is a Special player. I think he will be better than Gordon.

Here's hoping Lynn is the best off-season acquisition for us, can make this team that can't put it together put it together.

15 games anyway. I believe he still has one left on suspension
