Oakland has done some good things but what they havent had to deal with is having a good roster and managing their cap around it. They seem to make reaches for vets on the end of their careers and most have not worked out well. Will see if they can increase their 1 year dynasty that they seem to believe in. Our division is damned tough. Oakland is much improved but with the likes of KC, a perennial playoff team now, and Denver trying to get an offense to support their great defense and us on the rise and needing a non-injury laden season to get the close wins, I see a terrifically even division with teams that can compete on any given Sunday.
Not sure if we will see much happen in FA now for us unless there is a clear RT prospect or safety that is cut for salary cap reasons We have a lot of youthful talent that my gut says Lynn and TT will want to get their playing time to progress on the cheap vs hiring a 1-2 year vet on the downside of their career.
