It should be a blend - determine your top 3 to 5 positions that need major upgrade, and take BPA within that sub-cluster of positions.

1. Past: Ravens like to draft WRs early in the draft, arguably to avoid shopping in the FA market. I think they drafted 3 WRs in Rd 1 in the last 7 yrs? (can't recall - I looked it up over a month ago). Last was Zay Flowers 2 yrs ago
1b. Ravens like to draft TEs.
2. Recent: Joe traded UP to get a WR he wanted in 2024.
If people believe Joe is Ozzie/DeCosta West, they should be expecting Joe will select a WR by Day2 and not sign a high price Higgy-type FA.
e.g. He will follow the DMAC plan to sign two IOL players and fix the line, draft highest FA costing skill positions early: Edge, WR, ... etc., and draft a TE.
I do believe he has a great deal of respect for his previous organization, but this ain't them..
I do expect IOL, WR2, TE, Edge to be a priority but BPA in the 1st could be a DT.
I think FA or trade for a quality vet C. Beyond that I think the adds are right. Who , when? Hard to say.

Someone want to see the list of these 3 rounds ?

Loveland for a 1st/3rd or Myles Garrett for a 1st/3rd if Poppers trade value is correct. Granted, Popper was also willing to pay a 4th for Cooper Kupp and $22m contract
I get the age factor and the cost factor for Garrett but kind of just comparing the two players.
I think Charger can get TE in Round 2

My fear is after the senior bowl Taylor and Arroyo are gone by 55. Fannin? Round 2 is a bit high for me for Helm or Ferguson
What are your thoughts?

I'd rather we draft our own Trey Smith. Dude was only a 6th rounder. Hortiz needs to find his own Trey Smith. We have 10 picks, let's make it happen.
Fans need to make peace with the fact that Zion and Bozeman will be back next year. I think Pipkins will be replaced. I think/hope Hortiz finds another OG and center of the future in this draft. The 2026 OL likely is the OL of the future. Be patient, next year is prob a small step backwards as we rely on a lot of (exciting) rookies moving forward. Which also means a higher pick in 2026 and more chance of an impact player there, too.
Two more years, Bolt fam. Be patient. Don't forget that Harbaugh struggled mightily at first at Michigan. Almost got fired after 2020. Takes time to build these things.
Otherwise he was a 2nd rounder. So if Hortiz can find a OG with possible health issues or something else that drops him, I'm all for it.
Here is an article on in
1. Mason Taylor TE LSU
2. Quinshon Judkins RB Ohio st
3. Kyle Kennard Edge So. Carolina ✓
4. CJ West DT Indiana
5. Don'te Thornton WR Tennessee
6. Zah Frazier CB UTSA
6. Jarquez Hunter RB Auburn
6. Jay Higgins LB Iowa
6. Hunter Wohler S Wisconsin
7. Carson Vinson OT Alabama

Helm might be a little early in R3
Hence, why I truly think - depending on the board at 22 - this might be the year to trade back - get another pick. Trade back to the top of the 2nd round and get another 3rd rounder -- more of a good quantity
again, all depends on teh board at 22

A similar thing is on the front burner at EDGE-DE-DT, with more prospects.
We can get in there or we can wait for tier two value.
