I just want to win games and get the big trophy. I don't care about the Spanii bank account. That doesn't mean spend frivolously or stupid. But to get good players, have to spend money. Due diligence, research, scheme fit -- understanding you have to manage the cap - but get better players on the roster. Preferably those that have a chance to be a part of this core group for 3 to 4 years. Its fine to have Mack back but I don't want an offseason of Mack, ZEitler, Kelly and Adams - all "bridge" players. Get a couple cornerstones.

That said, the draft is how the team will be built. Cornerstone of building a team in the NFL. Free agency is used to augment - the draft is used to build.

Let’s win one for Mack.

Over the last 12 - 6 play-off games, all wildcards, two wins
Not that I want the team to go in cap hell and be stupid about signing players to try to win it all this year. But if the goal is to win, the team needs to spend some money in free agency. Spend it wisely, get some good players, draft and try to improve from last year. That should be the goal. And if Trey Smith gets $60m guaranteed and Rashawn Slaters gets $70m guaranteed, so be it.

4. CJ West DT Indiana
5. Don'te Thornton WR Tennessee
6. Zah Frazier CB UTSA

No tipping hands - which makes sense.

I would rule out going two rounds without beef though. Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Most rounds, I think Hortiz will target BEEF unless there's a superior BPA at a different position of need.
What we WON'T be getting is a Charlie Whitehurst in the 3rd round. Still shaking my head about that one.

Loves comp picks but knows we won't get 3-4 every year. Likely not this year. Maybe 2 which works as well.1. Mason Taylor TE LSU
