I really think this means Hortiz was serious about trying Zion at center and Bozeman is a fallback. If Zion can’t handle a basic stunt at guard I have a really hard time seeing him calling defenses and playing center.

Folks today saying that the draft has some good options for G but it’s within the top 50 picks and then it’s over.
There aren’t starters later in any capacity. It’s even worse at C. Injuries and it’s just a poor class.

Guys at PFF saying that the actions by teams yesterday shows that they are just not seeing NFL teams believing this is a strong G-C class and it obviously showed yesterday with the contracts that were handed out immediately when the tampering opened to interior offensive line players and in the build up to yesterday with KC and CHI.

Trevor Sikema who is Canadian Bolts guy said that the biggest signing yesterday that blew up the draft was OT Dan Moore (who gave up 12 sacks last year) getting 4-82 MIL and Aaron Banks getting 5-77 MIL.

As an aside, this won’t help Hortiz getting a slight discount on Slater not that it wasn’t going to be expensive anyways.

Yesterday was not a good day if you desperately needed o line and did nothing.

the problem i see with that plan, is that Zion and Bozeman appeared to be partners in crime on completely misreading blocks.

I guess having the second most cap space doesn't really mean anything. No pressing needs have been addressed. We lost guys who contributed and held onto a couple of guys but overall we have less than before. Looks like the Vikings addressed OL and DL, Bears addressed OL and we addressed next to nada.
