Truly, I am not sure ANY player is out of the price range for the Chargers as long as after research, due diligence, scheme fit - they are the RIGHT player. That said, if he spending big money like that - I want a guy that will grow with the current team. Thats not Adams to me

Now Osa O - if he had made it to free agency, the kind of target to sign.

No way would I have paid that guy $17.5m

If he would have taken a pay cut down to the $10-12m range - possibly worth a 6th - if the RIGHT scheme fit for the Chargers blocking style. But not at 17.5

Osa O signed with the Cowboys - 4/80 . I like him as a candidate but have to see who will be left
4/$100 does sound rich for Joe, especially after he just swung and whiffed badly on a TE coming off injury (Hurst). Although - dislocated ankle shouldn't be as worrisome as a WR with a big knee injury. Week 7 should have been early enough last year he is ready for the first OTAs, I'd think he's ready for medical evals now though didn't web-search about it.

        but what do I know.

Speaking of the Bears, the Rams just traded G Jonah Jackson to Chicago for a 6th round pick:

The Rams are officially moving on from Jonah Jackson after one rough season, sending him to Chicago for a Day 3 pick

I think I was saying that in response to TCU's Savion, who would feel like a Telesco-esque pick, considering TT's selections of Jason Verrett, QJ, and Max Duggan.

I'm pretty certain there will be a conversation between representatives of both sides, and if there's no ridiculous disparity in the contractual parameters each side has, then there will be FURTHER discussion.

It makes sense that Joe Hortiz would have *some* interest in Adams, but only at a particular price point.

Thats my concern with Godwin. I think he had an ACL one year -- he didn't miss the season but like end of one season ACL. Now he has this injury. No doubt, quality player when healthy

Face it, that the cost of a guard in today’s NFL.

What do Bolt’s fans think it’s going to cost to sign OL FAs? Hint: too damn much.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
                        Let’s win one for Mack.

I think you nailed it. First, the Chargers should reach out and express an interest. If the contract is within reason, like you said, continue the dialogue.

My guess, mutual interest on both parties. Adams would be on the West Coast playing with a pretty darn good QB; the Chargers have a need at the WR position and he would complement Ladd very well.

(added bonus for Hortiz, comp pick game - he wouldn't count)
