you're right about trading Stick, a trade would literally be the only way to recoup the prorated remnant of his salary for 2024...that number becomes less and less every week he's on the roster so at this point his 1.25 base minus two paychecks would be the savings amount, so whatever 1.25 mil divided by 17 comes out to then subtract it from 1.25 mil...BUT who the fuck is going to give the Chargers compensation for Easton, who wants to trade for Stick? NOOOBODY!
