I don't completely agree with the same speech you keep giving but I know your stance anyway. I don't think they are the best recivers in this draft but fine players at TE.

The only real negative to TMac is he thinks he doesn't need to watch film and doesn't like to watch film. He is going to find out different. Talent alone isn't going to carry you through in this league. You need to find an advantage so he needs to have a more mature mind set.

TE doesn't need to be round 1 but I would like one of the top 4. Ferguson is in my top 4.
You don't need to go on your Kelce, Gronk and Gates rant again. Kelce was a 3rd rounder, Gronk a 2nd and Gates was a UDFA.

I see what there is to appreciate in all three.

McMillian has a great combination of size, speed and power, and is very tough to bring down after the catch. With his size (6-4, 219) he outmuscles smaller defenders with ease.

Luther Burden III, to me, showed the most desire and 'want to'. Also difficult to tackle, but for a different reason than TMac: Burden is slippery and shifty in the same kind of way that Ladd McConkey is. You can't tackle him if you can't get your hands on him! He's 5-11, 208 so he's rarely overmatched by a defender, and is a tough, determined runner.

Matthew Golden has elite speed, so it's a bit puzzling that he doesn't outrun more defenders than he does. Very soft, velcro hands. Smallest of the three, at 5-11, 191. The kind of instant acceleration that allows him to jet past a defender and into an open field where he maneuvers like a punt returner for big YAC.

Overall, I came away most impressed with Luther Burden III. Not that I wouldn't welcome ANY of them to the Chargers. But from what I saw, it looked to me like the Bolts would be most helped by Burden, then McMillan, then Golden.
Does McMillian LOVE football enough for Harbaugh? No IMO. He looks like a guy who does his job and goes home early to me.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
      Let’s win one for Mack.

As much as I like TMAC, I've been wrestling with this too.
Bill Belichick would draft him (ala Gronk)
but if I read Harbaugh right, he wants guys who eats, breaths and craps football, at least from his core, foundational guys.
the profile is all wrong, I wouldn't be surprised if Jim doesn't have him as a first rounder.

Interesting observation. I didn't witness that in highlights, but then... I wouldn't expect 'highlights' to reveal lack of passion.

Your broader point is that there are things that evaluators know about prospects that even most zealot football fans are unaware of. We rarely know who's "first to practice, and last to leave". Or who's character is sketchy in a way that's unnerving (Aaron Hernandez, anyone?) Or who is an inspirational teammate.

And as I heard a front office guy say, "There ARE no prospects that don't have ANY Red Flags."

So as fans? By and large... we don't know shit!

            Money Smith loves TMAC
took a small program in Servite with Fifita and went up against the big boys

took Arizona from a terrible situation and they got better

I have no idea what this Harbaugh player narrative is. Harbaught wants to win!!!
My guess, Tmac is still on Harbaughs board. the guillty as charged dudes keep talking about a clip of TMac saying something not realizing he is still like 21 years old -and he might have said something stupid or that came across stupid but its not a reason to take him off his board

TMac is 21 now. Will be 22 on April 5th. JH wants to win but he wants players that love football and work as well.

I have done any research but I rather have a well rounded WR like the Ohio State guy.
We haven't had a guy like that since I been watching.

and nobody on this board knows whether TMac loves football or not and not going off one clip that may or may not be taken out of context

He may love football , and Murray may love football but I don't want him either as he didn't like to watch tape. It's just immaturity imo that players think their ability will get them through the NFL with no extra work involved but I'm not 21 and coddled with NIL money.

It depends on the interviews with him. I don't think he was mislead with the question.

So at 21 you were the person you are today
                        thats just ridiculous
its one clip of a person

All I know is what I watched on the field -- he would fit perfectly with Ladd as a true X receiver. Now if the extended interviews stink, thats fine. But one little clip - won't hold that against any player. Many players his age do not need to watch film. The reason, they are just physically better. He will mature, learn and grow
