If Tyler Biadasz is Mike Goff for the next couple years -- solid signing!
If the signing of Biadasz turns out to be Goff-like?!? We'll all suffer serious injuries from doing backflips.

That said, pretty sure that Foley came to the Bolts from the Texans.

I have been on Biadasz since the Commanders released him. 11th ranked center last year, has made a Pro Bowl, played in 31 of his last 34 games. Not as big as Cade Mays but more athletic for MM's system

Joe just saved 14-15 million on Linderbaum that can be used to improve other positions on the roster

Still want a young center like Logan Jones in the 4th
Logan Jones and Parker Brailsford are probably off my board now...I dont wanna spend a 4th or higher on a center only backup...for that matter, I would like to pickup a C/G prospect, so they can backup both positions...roster spot effeciency.

C not an early priority, IMO...though if any of Lew, Slaughter, or Hecht can play guard? I would be cool with that...

Biadasz doesn't count the comp formula very true
I see six potential players to hit that AAV of $5-6 or higher

            Oweh
            Zion
            Salyer
            Pipkins
            Mack
            St. Juste

I think Oweh will be gone but who do you sign - Enagbare for cheap, Chubb who won't count, or Joseph Ossai or Chaisson or a Cam Jordan And what is the price point that a player crosses off another player. If Oweh is 23 for instance, I think it would need to be like 15+ to cancel him out

St. Juste, Pip and Salyer are all in that 6th or 7th range
Mack can only be a 5th at most

Zion and Oweh could be 3rd or 4th rounders

Rashid Shaheed went to my high school.

              Bring him “home.”

Tyler Biadasz becomes our new starting OC! I wonder if this means we are going to pay Oweh his market value since we didn't sign the name OC in free agency? As long as we have a solid Oline next season I'm good with the signing? I wonder why Washington cut him?

Because no big money was spent on OC I hope there's a chance we consider looking at Alec Pierce? He could be our number 1 deep threat which Herbert has desperately needed for a while now.

Don't listen to The Athletic Football podcast from Wed or Thursday if you want Alec Pierce, FA WR - the results were mixed. I was like "damn, thats not good history"

And I like Alec Pierce a lot!

EVERYONE agrees that Justin H. is the most important player and making the OL a huge upgrade.
Is a middling Center and keeping Zion ( who was part of this bad OL )really a huge upgrade ? Unless there is more OL signings ( and good ones ), I'm not impressed. Hortiz, do you have a OL blind spot?

Fantastic news. Looks like everyone finally came around to my original point that since we need 3 IOL, spending $25M on Linderbaum would be too much when that figure can get you a quality C and 2 G’s.

Hortiz played it smart. We have several other positions of need besides C.
Wonder why the Commanders released Biadasz...he still had one year left on his deal...Washington didn't really need to free up much cap space, because they're #5 this year with $63 mil...anyone have any theories on this?
